Yes, it cans. i'v ordered the previous model which has only N-455 (single core ) processor and only 2gb ram (not samsung but a chinese one) and used it to play some standalone light weight plugins. the problem was it couldn't handle a complete DAW project with few instruments and audio, or any sampler\rompler, and was hell slow as well and worked only with the generic asio4all driver. but my friend ordered the last chinese model which is very similar to this one, and reported smooth audio performance with a USB midi keyboard.
The latency is very reasonable but fast enough.
you should check your audio interface's system requirements before you buy anything. This is the most important thing (and the driver) . In terms of ability to perform, this tablet cans. And it's also a lot of fun to use.
